What we can help with

From chronic skin conditions to concerns you've been putting off — we assess, diagnose and treat with the depth your skin deserves.

Acne & Acne Scarring

From mild breakouts to persistent cystic acne — including prescription topical and oral treatments where appropriate.

Rosacea

Persistent redness, flushing and visible vessels — assessed properly and managed with an evidence-based prescription plan.

Eczema & Dermatitis

Atopic, contact and seborrhoeic dermatitis — review of triggers, prescription treatments and long-term management.

Psoriasis

Scalp, body and nail psoriasis — assessed and managed with appropriate topical treatments and ongoing review.

Pigmentation & Melasma

Uneven skin tone, dark patches and post-inflammatory pigmentation — prescription-strength management plans.

Skin Rashes & Reactions

Unexplained rashes, allergic reactions and skin changes — assessed with clinical photographs and a full history.

Other Minor Skin Conditions

Not sure if your concern fits a category? If it's a skin condition we can assess, we'll tell you. If it's outside our scope, we'll point you in the right direction.

Our approach

Private dermatology shouldn't mean a rushed assessment and a printed leaflet. At Lyvia Health, you get genuine clinical depth — from a GP who has dedicated their practice to skin.

1

A thorough consultation

You'll complete a detailed health questionnaire before your appointment. Your GP will review your history, current medications, previous treatments and skin concerns before the consultation begins.

2

Clinical assessment with photographs

Via video or asynchronous consultation with clinical photographs. We take time to look carefully — not just at the visible concern, but at the wider picture.

3

A clear prescription plan

Where treatment is appropriate, we issue private prescriptions directly to your chosen pharmacy. No FP10 forms, no delays. We explain what you're using and why.

4

Follow-up included

Skin conditions rarely resolve in one appointment. We build in review and follow-up as standard — so you're not starting from scratch every time.

"Finally, a clinic that takes your skin — and your time — seriously."

Private prescriptions issued electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. No oral isotretinoin. Adults 18+ only.

Urgent skin concerns

If you have a rapidly changing or suspicious lesion, we will provide same-day clinical advice and, where appropriate, a same-day GP letter requesting urgent 2-week-wait consideration. Lyvia Health does not diagnose or treat skin cancer.

GP-led dermatology. Not a generalist with a passing interest.

Our clinicians hold dermatology diplomas and practise in this area every day.

Most skin conditions can be assessed via good quality clinical photographs and a thorough history. If we feel an in-person examination is essential, we will advise you clearly and can provide a referral letter to support your onward care.
Yes — where clinically appropriate, we can prescribe a range of prescription treatments including topical retinoids, antibiotics, antifungals and other dermatological medications via private prescription. We do not prescribe oral isotretinoin or controlled drugs.

Yes. We include follow-up as standard — we want to know whether your treatment is working and adjust it if needed. Skin conditions are rarely a one-appointment matter, and we plan for that from the start.
